Important Notice Regarding Airline Reservations

Most airline tickets once booked are not refundable unless specified in writing by  your booking agent.

If you arrive at an airline ticket or passenger check-in counter with your confirmed ticket and find that the airline shows no reservation for you – do not leave the counter. Check your ticket. If the status box shows "OK" for the flight in question, the airline policies typically require them to accommodate you on that flight, or if that is not possible, they must either find you a substitute flight or pay you denied boarding compensation. If necessary ask to speak to a supervisor.

Cancellations

Most bookings are non-refundable unless specified in writing by our agents on in the travel documents. It is the customer responsibility to enquire if the cancellation policy is not clear and notify us immediately if you have any disagreement about the cancellation policy before confirming your booking.

In addition to the cancellation terms and conditions of your Supplier(s), our  fees may apply .

Refunds will only be paid to you once we have received the funds back from the Supplier(s). Generally flight tickets cannot be refunded if they are partially used. We are not responsible for a Supplier’s failure to pay a refund.

If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your travel insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim your cancellation charges through your insurer.

If the cancellation policy is not specified it is your responsibility to ask your booking agent to provide it in writing before booking.

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

Unless otherwise defined during the reservation process, final payment is due prior to departure or consumption according to each supplier’s (airline, hotel, cruise line, transfer company, sightseeing operators, and other travel service vendors) terms and conditions involved in your travel booking. If final and full payment is not received by the applicable due date, reservations are subject to cancellation and deposits shall be forfeited. In some cases there is NO REFUND once a booking is made and paid for. Your right to a refund if you change or cancel your travel plans is limited and it is due only if specified in writing in your travel documents.  All cancellation requests must be sent to Arriva Travel in writing. As a result of cancellation, Arriva Travel’s and third party supplier’s cancellation penalties will apply, which are detailed in your travel documentation and correspondence you were sent during your booking process. Cancellation penalties are always advised at time of booking and provided to you upon confirmation. If you have any questions, or any penalties are unclear, please contact your Arriva  Travel agent immediately during your booking process.
